How To Make City Building Collage Art

Materials
- Copy Paper or Drawing Paper
- Multicolored paper
- Crayons or markers or colored pencils
- Scissors
- Gluesticks
Instructions
Step 1. Let’s start with the background!
Tear some colored paper strips, then glue them on white paper. You can leave the bottom part empty.
Step 2. Cut some squares and rectangles for the buildings.
Cut variations of squares and rectangles on different colored papers.
Step 3. Decorate the top of the buildings.
Trim the top of your buildings to shapes of your liking.
Step 4. Glue your buildings on top of the backgrounds.
Step 5. Add details to your collage!
Cut and paste small squares or rectangles for the doors and windows. You can also use markers to draw windows and roof details.
Use other materials (crumpled papers, buttons, cotton ball, or anything that you can think of!) for outdoor details like the sun, moon, and stars.
Tadah! You’ve made two beautiful city scenery collages: day and night! Good job, creator!
Tips for art-mazing success
- Collage is fun and easy. You can simply snip with your hands to cut the papers, or you can use a pair of scissors. Just remember to TAKE EXTRA CARE while handling them, or seek the supervision of your mom or dad. ✂️❗
